The Sandermatic series of machines is a pass-through style machine for automatically blasting work pieces that are either directly hung onto an overhead trolley mounted hanger or positioned in a suitable fixture suspended by the overhead hanger.  Single or multiple work pieces with overall dimensions not exceeding the specifications can be blasted in batch operations.  Each machine is provided with an integrated overhead conveyor loop fitted with multiple hooks distributed at fixed distances along the conveyor loop.  During each blasting cycle, the conveyor indexes a new hook into position inside of the blast cabinet.  Loading and unloading operations are performed at the exterior hook locations during the blasting cycle.  Optionally, this overhead conveyor loop can be omitted for machine integration into an extended conveyor system.

The blast wheels are mounted on the side of the blasting cabinet at optimum angles for effectively blasting all exposed work piece surfaces.  During the shot blasting operation, the hook is indexed into two different blasting positions.  In each of these positions, the hook is rotated in front of the respective blast wheels in order to present all surfaces of the work pieces to the blast stream.

All OMSG shot blast machines include an integral abrasive recovery and cleaning system.  After passing through the blast wheel, the abrasive is collected, separated from the resulting dust and other contaminants, and then stored in a hopper, ready for reuse.  Collected contaminants are stored in a separate hopper for periodic disposal.   

All machines utilize replaceable highly wear resistant materials in critical locations.  All machine control systems are pre-piped and pre-wired.  All machine dust exhaust ports are pre-piped to a central collection point, ready to be connected to an external dust collector or optionally, a fully integrated dry cartridge type dust collector can be provided.
